Saved by the Blues is the new book by Rebecca Pillsbury (author of the award-winning memoir Finding Ecstasy). In this book the author shares personal stories of different people and how blues music and blues dancing have changed their lives.
The author was looking for a brand identity that expressed the blues spirit and its power to change lives.
Idea
The idea behind this brand identity is keep the spirit of blues pure and stick to the basics. The guitar as the basic instrument for blues is the main element of the symbol.
The book´s title on top of the guitar´s hole shows the connection between the music and the outer world, where people are.
